This is considered an acid strength enzyme peel. It is a potent digestive all-natural organic enzyme that lifts away dead skin cells, disperses congestion, and softens comedones. Equivalent to a 30% AHA peel in intensity, Pumpkin Peel is rich in Beta Carotene and Vitamin A, which assists in infusing nutrients into the skin. Not recommended for sensitive, reactive skin types.

Of all of the Alpha Hydroxy Acids, glycolic acid is the most potent in its capabilities for both rapid penetration and desquamation (exfoliation). The molecular structure of glycolic acid is much smaller than the other AHAs and this increases its ability to absorb. Glycolic Acid will improve the structural integrity of the skin far into the dermis. The 20% Glycolic is the ideal strength for many treatment options. It may be used as an initial cleansing step to remove lipids (a quick on and off rinse), by itself for five to ten minutes, and may be mixed with certain enzymes to boost the efficacy of the treatment.
